Finnish M24 Civil Guard Mosin
The barrel was made by SIG in Switzerland in 1926-1928. SIG is written on the side of the barrel, pictured in photographs.
Marked on the barrel with S civil guard stamp.
The barrel is thicker than on a regular M1891, but it it steeped at the end to take a standard Mosin bayonet.
The stock is interesting as it is made in the US by New England Westinghouse, and has the original cartouche clearly stamped.
