1942 LEE ENFIELD longbranch
Model: NO4 MKI* longbranch with DCRA/Sterling conversion
Caliber: 7.62 nato/308
Bore is good to very good
Bolt serial # matches the band
Comes With:
Sterling Magazine (marked CR 1256 & 1965)
Scope: No32 mk 3
Started as regualr 303 brit rifle but was converted by DCRA in 1950s/60s (#347 with "England" above it) for competition shooting (most were single shot rifles but some added later the sterling conversion where the rifle was given a special magazine and extractor which allowed the rifle to repeat the feed and extraction of the 7.62 rounds)
Scope mount numbered A03801 with previous number crossed out, scope marked Tel.Stg.No32 MK3, No 7, elevation and windage knobs turn. Comes with leather scope cover, glass is good, still clear
Four piece full military wood stocks with broad arrow markings (stock different from rest of rifle with knick in it but has broad arrow marking), wood cheek rest retained with two screws, smooth brass butt plate
I got the rifle exactly how it is pictured. I did not add the scope. It was dusty, hadn't seen the light of day for a long time. Very good condition for its age
Pal will be verified
However, for the serious, out of province, buyer I can offer shipping. Will be shipped with full insurance.
