I have three WW1 British Navy Remington Model 14 1/2 rifles. Hand selected from one collection liquidation. Approximately 1914 made. All DCP (Dominion of Canada) marked. They are part of 4000 Model 14 1/2 purchased by British Admiralty for crews for defence against mines but also for use against German E and U boats. Great piece of US-Canada-UK WW1 history. These were surplused after the Great War and were quite popular as utility rifles, which contributed to the fact that most of these can only be found in trash condition.  All three verified cycling snap caps, no issues. All three have original front and rear sights. All three still have part that is often lost and hard to check - cartridge stop. Rifle would not  cycle more than 2 rounds without it. All three have hairline cracks in the stock wrist (at this point of collecting I handled more than a dozen of DCP Model 14 1/2 rifle and ALL of them had at least hairline cracks in stock, it was a sporting firearm not designed for military service and stock wrist was its weak spot). Please also read individual rifles descriptions below.
