As the title says, a rem 700 with shilen stainless heavy barrel, 25.5 inch. 14 twist. 22-250.
Factory rem trigger has been re-worked too.
Rifle was done by Dennis Sorensen of victoria bc. A long time Rem expert, unfortunately retired.
Barely used. I got it second hand 20 yrs ago! From the original owner's estate. It hasn't had 200 rounds down the pipe. Due to my work sked, it just didn't get attention. It truely is very accurate. As per normal with 14 twists, it likely won't do well with 55 grain bullets unless you use factory loads, they are usually blunt enough to stabilize. But, as a 200 to 300 yard gopher blaster, with hp 50 grainers, or even lighter bombs, it will be awesome. I shot 52gr hornadys into under a half inch first time out. pal needed of course. ride is on the buyer. emt is king. But of course!! Post is on strike! Plus, as I have found, a few cowardly couriers will not ship a rifle. So I guess we need to try UPS or Canpar? When the time comes...
