Custom barreled action was built for a customer who isnt able to shoot anymore:
- Remington 40-x stainless single shot action - Purchased brand new from PTG
- New old stock Remington 700 bolt fit to the receiver
- Krieger chromoly heavy palma contour 8.5 twist barrel finished at 25" with 5/8-24 muzzle threads & bead blast finish
- MDT recoil lug
- Remington 700 Walker trigger worked over and set at 1.5 lbs
- Talley 1 piece 30mm lapped rings
Total cost of this barreled action was over $3800. 300 rounds fired. I test fired the rifle before putting it up for sale and accuracy was still excellent with 142gr Sierra Matchkings.
