Fazakerley Lee Enfield No5Mk1 Jungle Carbine, numbers matching, complete!

I have for sale a very, very nice 1947-dated Lee Enfield No5Mk1 Jungle Carbine, built by Fazakerley in the post-war period. This gun is all numbers matching (receiver, magazine, and forend), and has all of its original parts, including the very nice condition buttplate and rubber butt pad! The bore is a five groove in excellent condition, with a number one bolt head that headspaces correctly and has appropriate firing pin protrusion, checked against CAF armourer's gauges. The rear sight is the correct 800y Jungle Carbine sight, and  although it has some stubborn surface discolouration, I think it would scotchbright back to perfect with a tiny bit of elbow grease.

The wood is excellent, all matching, original, but does have a very light dusting of what looks like white latex paint - you can see it in the buttstock photos. GooGone should take care of that!

Comes with an original English MEC 1943-dated sling, appropriate length for the shorter Carbines.

Shipping is not included but will be via CanadaPost Expedited Post, insured for $100. Item will ship once payment is received - I'm presently only able to make it to the post office on weekends, due to work. It is greater than 100cm in length assembled - I can avoid the "over-length" fee from CanadaPost if I remove the butt and ship it detached; it just takes a long handled flat-blade screwdriver to reinstall, super straightforward.
