Remington 550-1 tube mag 22 rounds

Rifle shoots very quickly, holds 15 LR, or 17 Long, or 22 Short cartridges.  Fast cycle time. Doesn’t jam. These are very interesting semi automatic rifles. Remington came up with a booster system they called “Power piston”. This allows it to shoot short, longs and long rifle .22 ammo. Mag holds 22 short, 17 long or 15 long rifle. 24 inch barrel. Made from 1941-71. Original finish has turned brown on receiver and slightly dulled on barrel. I will try cotton cloth and oil burnishing to improve it.
