Savage 99, made 1905, with peep sight

This very nice Savage 99 has a vintage Marbles S1 folding peep sight on the tang. Action feels new. Screw slots perfect. Original blue. That black spot is a blackened ding , I will try to improve that with local steam. 
The caliber is 303 savage, for which now dies and brass are available. I have 80 rounds but we can’t ship ammo but I  can send you the brass.

Barrel is 22".

If anyone wants the rifle with a correct rear sight on (both don't work together unless you set the rear for very long range or the rear sight is in the peep view), but the S1 peep removed, the price is $60 less.

The bore is sharp but somewhat dark. I have placed Hoppes #9 to help brighten and will bronze brush to brighten it and do a bit of rapid fire.  Send your email for higher resolution photos and postal code for postage quote.
