JM Marlin 444

1977 no safety JM stamped Marlin 444S micro-groove in excellent condition with bull’s eye on the stock. Purchased from the original owner and fired 3 times at the range. Comes with Tasco fixed power 4x32mm scope mounted (sling not included). Half a box of ammo for local pickup in Nanaimo. Uses the same .429” 44 caliber bullets as the 44 magnum for reloading. The rifle was well cared for and recoil isn’t worst than a 300WM, despite the recoil pad being a bit stiff. Wood still has a nice gloss to it. Cool slick old style hammer extension, trigger pull not bad compared to most factory Marlin triggers. Smooth from years of cycling the action.
