It’s a shooter’s grade Arisaka Type 38 I got from trade, caliber 6.5 Jap. It’s series 5 Nagoya built during WWII. Receiver and front band matching, bolt is self matching with another serial number. Mum still present but over stamped with small circles. Believe it’s been imported or removed from field service. No import markings so great chance it’s a bring back. Metal in good condition, great finish, no rust or pitting. Wood is fair, small crack on tip of handguard. Stock surface is rough but no major damage. Bore is great with sharp rifling.
