Selling my Eddystone made US Model of 1917 (M1917), 30-06 Springfield. It has a C/l\ mark on the butt stock, the forend is painted red to distinguish it on the rack from 303 rifles. It is in very good condition. Everything works as it should, the bore is good and there are no cracks/splits in the wood. The Remington 1917 bayonet is in very good condition. It has a C/l\ and RCAF/l\ marks. The scabbard is Canadian correct, the frog and sling are RCAF.

The rifle was made in September of 1917 and has a four digit serial number (6213). Eddystone delivered it’s first M1917 rifle on 10 September 1917 and made just under 1.2 million rifles between September 1917 and the end of WW1. Early in WWII Canada bought 100,000 M1917’s from the US for use by Army Training Centres, the RMC, Army Reserve units, the Veterans Guard, the PCMR and the RCAF. This is one of those rifles.

Overall a very good rifle for shooting and collecting.

Asking $2250 plus actual shipping, no trades. PAL info required for verification.
