This is a very early production flat side Winchester 1895. Caliber 30 US / 30-40 Krag. Rough condition with cleaned pitting on metal. No live rust. Stock been sanded and muzzle been shortened for about half an inch. Forend is a replacement. MFD 1896 according to serial number. I haven’t shot it but manually cycles well. Bore is worn. Could be a candidate for restoration. Asking $1000 based on rarity and condition. Shipping on buyer if needed.
