Up for sale is a USA Model 1917 made by Eddystone. These are less seen for sale lately than the British versions. This is in the nice 30-06 and these rifles saw WW1 action. Rifle is nicely marked / stamped with maker, serial numbers and the flaming logo. 1918 production date. This is a NON matching rifle.
I purchased this 5+ years ago. Fired off 5 rounds and it's been in the safe ever since. Rifle functioned as should but will need a proper sight in.
Things to note,
#1 bolt has pitting on under side.
#2 Possible tiny surface crack or scratching?? I opened up the stock and there is nothing past the surface in the wood in the back. See pictures.
