Savage Axis XP

I have a Savage Axis XP chambered in 30.06 for sale. Upon receiving the gun I immediately removed the scope that came with the gun and mounted a brand new Vortex Diamond Back 3 x 9 variable powered scope. The scope has Weaver Skeleton rings and a picatinny rail. I bought this gun in anticipation of a moose hunt, however I’ll be 85 years old before accumulating enough points to get a tag in the WMU we hunt in. I decided to stick to deer hunting, they’re lighter as well. I’m asking $700.00 for the package but if someone just wants the rifle alone I’ll sell it for $400.00. The rifle has only seen the range and only about a dozen shots through it to sight it in.
