Savage Stevens Favorite Model 30GM 22 WMR

The final production of Stevens Favorite Single Shot (swing/falling block) rifle made in the early 2000's.

This rifle boasts much better steel and construction than its early 20th century predecessor. 

The rifle is in virtually mint condition with shiney bore/barrel, and immaculate but simple wood.

The rifle is chambered in 22WMR, which gives this little (just over 37 inches long, 4.2 pounds weight, and less than 1.6 inch thick) rifle some serious punch above while still lending itself to be carried for hours in the field without tiring the hunter.

Unlike some 22LR versions, this is not a break down rifle. Its solid construction ensures the rifle will experience less wear and tear or the resulting play in the action.

The classy single shot design gives this rifle an aesthetically pleasing silouette, while also ensuring that it can easily be used to introduce/train new shooters to the art.

The rifle is, understandably, rare, as the company Savage, who owns the Stevens brand, ceased making these in the mid-2000's.
