Looking for Ruger scout, Tavor 7, or whatever you think is cool. I have experience with C-7, and FAMAS rifles in the field. These Chilean battle rifles are truly made to take a beating, and cycle through anything. The bolt, and long stroke piston are derived from Avtomat Kalashnikovs 47. The trigger guard flips up for service in harsh below zero environments with heavy gloves. This rifle has never jammed on me. Adjustable gas port for regular, and adverse conditions. It has a bolt catch. Proprietary mags are steel construction, robust, and come apart easily for cleaning. This rifle has only been used at the range. It has the typical wear mark at the ejection port, and an unfortunate scratch down the barrel from storage, or transport. Otherwise all steel and plastic in great condition. I love bull pups, and despite(in my humble opinion) the Tavor 7 being not battle proof due to the plastic return spring guide, and wobbly plastic buffer pad, I figure having two will be safe. I look forward to all your thoughts. Cheers.
