Remington 700 MAK Tube Gun 308 Win Competition Rifle

This has been my main competition rifle for over 20 years.

I have used it to win many awards in F Class competition over the years, some of which you can see in the attached pictures. 

One award in particular is evidence of the accuracy of this rifle where I was the first in Canada to shoot an FTR score of 50 with 9 Vs at 300 yards to take the F Open gold medal. That's 9 out of 10 shots inside 1/2 MOA at 300 yards in a squadded relay match.

I also used this rifle to win the long range 800-900 meter aggregate in 50 MPH winds, the windiest weekend on record for the Ontario Provincial Championship.

The rifle started life as a Rem 700 PSS which was blue printed and the bolt converted to a Sako style extractor by Aubrey White of  North American Shooting Systems.

The trigger is my all time favorite CG 2 stage, nothing is better in my opinion.

Including 2 additional competition grade barrels chambered in 308. The 3 match grade barrels alone cost almost what I'm asking for the rifle.

Two of the barrels are chambered for the 185 Berger Juggernaut. The third barrel is a tight bore Krieger chambered for the 155 Palma bullet all under 400 rounds

You will get the original Picatinny rail and for end.

You will also get the 30 mm unitized scope mount which was made using Sako optilock rings for no scope stress. 

The custom fore end and bipod is included. It is absolutely the most stable bipod you will ever have the pleasure of using as the recoil energy is transmitted to the ground and not your shoulder.

You can shoot this rifle all weekend long and not develop any sort of a flinch.

The recoil is mitigated so quickly that you will be able to watch the trace of your bullets in flight.

The chassis system is a MAK tube kit and the action has been epoxied in place to enhance the stiffness.

You will notice that this chassis safely encapsulates the action so that in the event of a case split, any gases coming out the back of the bolt will be trapped and safely vented out the bolt slot.

The bolt knob has been threaded for a custom knob.

You will also get the single feed mag and 10 round AICS mag. Extra mags are available at additional cost.

Given the nature of this rifle I would prefer a local pickup, but I will ship the rifle at no additional cost if you pay the listed price.

The scope, hard case, Harris bipod, and pic rail rings are not included.
