Mosin Nagant carbine 1944

Took this rifle in a trade so don’t really know the history of it. Stock has some nicks and scuffs but is still solid, some minor pitting on the metal but shouldn’t be a big deal to clean up and restore.
Please note everything seems to be perfectly operational however I have not fired the rifle because I don’t have smokeless ammo. 
Would possibly consider trading for a Savage Hog Hunter 308. 
Willing to help figure out shipping once that is a possibility again.
