Remington Model 14 1/2 .44-40 British Naval Forces

Selling/trading a Remington Model 14.5 in .44-40. Overall it's in nice shape. From what I understand this was 1 of 4000 issued to the British Naval Forces. Canadian acceptance marks (DCP) present where the barrel meets the receiver. Rack number D203 stamped on the side of the receiver. Bluing has started to fade into a nice patina, but still retains some of its original colour. Woods stocks are in nice shape, a few hairlines at the wrist, wood is all still good and solid. Bore is in excellent shape. Retains its original iron sights. Looking for $2250 shipped. Insurance by request on buyer. Open to all trades. Can send more pictures upon request.
