Savage Model 1899 Takedown .22 Hi Power

Selling/trading a Savage Model 1899 Takedown in .22 Hi Power (5.6x52r). Overall it's in fair shape. 20" round barrel, has brass counter on the side of the receiver. Forestock is in good shape, looks to have been refinished at some point in its life as checkering is faint, has a chip at the Schnabel forend. Butt stock looks to have been cut down and sanded, if not completely different entirely. 14" length of pull, no checkering, fit and finish is poor. Butt plate looks to be a factory Savage plate but has been ground to fit the cut down butt stock. Bore is starting to darken but does still have some life left in it. Takedown is nice and tight. Rear sight looks to possibly be a replacement, front sight has some yellow paint on it. Would make a great restoration project. Looking for $675 shipped. Insurance by request on buyer.
