dou 43 family bringback in 1945, was used for deer hunting after 1945 but all the numbers match right down to the firing pin, all markings intact, and barrel is numbered to the rest under the stock. This was the beginning of the Kriegsmodell. Only thing is the stock and sling band were replaced because the stock was duffle cut but still have it . My son wants a motorbike and something has to go, this is a nice example of a Nazi rifle that has not been altered, drilled or screwed with, swastikas fully intact.  Mark on barrel is from original installation, it was never screwed with. The original stock was duffle cut so we put it back into a genuine Waffen marked 1943 dated BRNO stock. Bore is nice and sharp. The soldier it was taken from scratched their name into the trigger guard, easily removed but still part of this guns history.
