Ugly paint beautiful gun needs love!

Here is a gun that needs love...internally it's in really good shape nice smooth action crisp trigger etc woodwork is nice crack and reasonably dent free see pics ....but some heathen in its past painted it ...badly and since then the paint has chipped off as you can see in the pics ..I bought this from a friend who was in financial difficulties but wouldn't take a  helping hand so I bought this and paid too much for it to help him out.   

It's an easy project to strip and re blue the beast ....or re paint it but do it right ..or it could be an ideal truck gun where you don't mind if it gets bumped.. it would certainly save ruining your best gun ...

I took it apart to inspect it and deliberately over wetted it with oil so might need a wipe off ..  happy to say it has no rust inside and It functions flawlessly although I think the magazine spring could do with replacing...it's priced to sell less than I paid for it just trying to get back some of the money I gave my friend. or trade for 20 gauge semi or pump or try your trades... 

Pick up in bear river NS.  Can ship on your dime but would rather face to face so buyer can see exactly what it is like . Can't say fairer than that . It's actually much better than it looks .
