Browning AUTO-5 made 1952 Belgium with vintage Lyman Cuts Compensator

This AUTO 5 has real chased (chisel cut) engraving, not scroll or roll embossing. Much nicer engraving than typical. This gun has a great 1950's Canadiana hunting vibe. Back then if you had a good job and wanted to show your success you might buy the costly and sophisticated AUTO 5, and gilded it with an extra cost CUTTS device. 

The long stroke semi auto recoil action smoothes out recoil, then in addition the  Lyman CUTTS COMPENSATOR reduces muzzle climb so your fast shots were on target. I fired about 50 rounds flawlessly. The felt recoil is the best I have ever experienced. 

This shotgun has a mint bore, no signs of heavy firing, but the butt was cracked and solidly, but not invisible cosmetically, repaired. See photos where cross pin head is filled with epoxy . Comes with one choke tube, “MODIFIED 725”. Alternative chokes are available at about $50.
