This is a fine example of early 20th Century gun maker's art. It was manufactured in 1924 by the renowned Parker Brothers of Meridian, Connecticut, and is of 12 gauge.
The action locks tight with no signs of looseness. The bores are bright and shiny, with no signs of pitting or rust, as are the chambers .The butt plate is missing; however there is a very nice lace-up leather sock which conceals the missing butt plate. The grip plate has the original Parker Brothers logo. Considering its age, the wood is in very good to excellent condition.
The shogun has a tang safety and double triggers.
