Ultra rare Ithaca magnum 10 ga 3.5 inch chambers 1 of 887

The Western Cartridge Co. introduced the mag 10 in 1932. It was stuffed with 2 ounces of shot and it generated a brain-bruising amount of kick. To handle it, Ithaca developed the NID Magnum-Ten side by sides. These doubles came standard with 32″ bbls and they weighed 10-11 lbs+ plus. The first one was serial number 500,000. From 1932 -1942, Ithaca made 887 of them in all.

Field grade, Star variation. there was 574 feild's made . even less of the "star"  only one I have seen yet .

Some interesting non custom features are -: extra full choke .  *theys guns are known to have made the best 75yard pattern ever produced by any shotgun, And the one and only! (Elmer Keith)  Proved that .     the chokes are a extra long/extra full,   with a 10 inch choke length .  

Condition is well used But solid and Will Hold up for another 90 years 

stalk has a very well done repair , price reflects imperfection .
