Selling/trading a Winchester Model 1897 12 gauge. Overall it's in good shape for its age. Made in 1902, 30" barrel, 2 3/4" chamber, fixed full choke, takedown model. Bluing looks to have been redone at some point in its life and shows well, normal fading and freckling here or there. Wood stocks are in nice shape, forestock has a crack along the right hand side, butt stock has two hairlines at the wrist but all is still solid. Bore is in nice shape. Action racks nicely but doesn't always lock up properly, appears to be the result of wiggling the forestock the right way to have it lock up. Missing front bead sight.
