Mossberg 500 M first year 1961 vintage shotgun

Listed in just one ad that I could find from 1961. Heavy walled barrel, steel trigger assembly, 12 gauge 3 inch magnum. Not many of these around as this was the very first year they were made, all original with it's steel plug in the stock for recoil weight. This was Mossbergs answer to the Win M12 heavy duck and the Rem 870 Magnum.  Condition is a solid 75% with no rust, cracks or damage, no one has screwed with this one. I had 2 of these from the Kingsville area near the Jack Miner marsh. I sold the rougher one for $500 3 years ago at our local gun show, just don't have time or room to display this with all the old duck and goose bands I have. Shipping on your dime and if it doesn't sell I will find room for a classic that is actually impossible to find now.
