A fantastic gunpost member. I’ve now bought a few items from Liam. He was quick to answer any questions I had. He lives a little ways away but was very willing to drive out close to me and meet up! Very friendly and had some great chats. All of his items were as described in excellent condition. Definitely looking forward to any business with him in the future. Thanks Liam!
do not buy anything from this guy especially don't buy any firearms from him, the worst gp member I've ever dealt with .
short story: made a trade deal with him and ends up getting a damaged rifle with pitted bolt from him, he refused to cover the damage and left me a hostile review.
full story: In October I made a trade with this guy exchanging my Sako TRG for his AX308. At the time of the exchange we explicitly agreed that both rifles were in perfect condition. He assured me that his rifle had only seen 100 rounds and had no issues whatsoever, but on the day I received the rifle I discovered a bolt pitting issue.I immediately contacted him, and he admitted that the problem might have been caused by his improper reloading practices, specifically failing to seal the primers properly (later confirmed by AI technicians' assessment). He assured me that this type of damage was covered under warranty and promptly contacted Wolverine Supply to initiate the warranty process. Following this, I sent the bolt to Wolverine for inspection.two months later, Wolverine informed me that the damage was not covered under warranty because it was caused by improper reloading, which they classified as user error. They stated that replacing the bolt would cost $1,000. Upon receiving this information, I contacted him immediately. However, he refused to bear the cost, claiming it was too expensive. Then, he began fabricating claims that the Sako I traded him had rust in the chamber. I questioned why he didn’t raise this issue when he first received the rifle and why he only brought it up three months later after learning that Wolverine would not cover the AX308 under warranty. Even if there were an issue (which I strongly dispute), how could he prove it wasn’t caused by his own actions during the three months he had the rifle? Moreover, he had already sold the Sako, so it caused him no financial loss. It was clear that he was making excuses to evade responsibility. Last week wolverine suggested that if he could provide previous brass or reloading data, they might be able to reapply for warranty coverage with AI. However, he could not provide this information. When I asked how he planned to resolve the issue, he again brought up the false claim about my Sako. I reiterated that he was satisfied with the rifle when he received it and raised no concerns at the time.I provided him with three options to resolve this matter:1. Find a functional second-hand bolt from the used market as a replacement.2. Compensate me with $500 (half the cost of a new bolt) so I could find a replacement myself.3. Buy back the rifle for $8,000 (current market value). He responded by saying he needed time to consider his options. However, instead of resolving the issue, he maliciously posted a negative review on my account today, attempting to deflect blame and tarnish my reputation.
A stellar gunpost member great communication super easy going and absolutely honest can't ask for a better member I would not hesitate to deal with him in the future A++++
