I had a re-barreled rifle done hastily over the time I had off from my Christmas break and the vendor did their best to accommodate the work.She was acting upon an ad that was put up informing people I would have rifles for sale in the near future. This buyer wanted to purchase it as soon as it was done. We made arraignments for her to pick it up when I was traveling back to Alberta. I was in a hurry as I had other stops to make and it had started snowing in the Rockies. and it's a 12hr drive on a good day. She made the decision to get a hotel room and take a ferry ride to save approx. $200 in freight/insurance. When I arrived on the mainland on the 4th I was informed that the paper work had not cleared with the RCMP so I told her I could not sell her the rifle due to this and offered to help with any costs she incurred. I phoned her and we had a conversation about it. Apparently over Christmas and in summer these get backed up due to the holidays. Less than a month later Alison text me saying she was not interested in purchasing anymore and had found another platform. Unfortunate that the sale could not be made to her. It's ready now.
Sent me money for an item during the holiday and couldn’t get it into The post office till they opened back up. I do live off grid so communications not The best here, I only have wifi in the city. So the fella assuming I’m a bad person for not getting the package sent out right away during holidays is sad.
