The pair of scales have been trimmed a bit, measuring about 2.95 inch (75mm) the single scale measures 3 inch (76.76mm).  $20 Mauser butt plate, 5.5 inches x 1 9/16,  holes c to c is 3 1/4 inches.  Flat rate box mailing anywhere for $18, the caps are too thick for an envelope, the scales would be subject to damage in an envelope.
