Hello all,
For sale is one of my favourite revolvers, an excellent condition all matching (including grip and wedge) Upper Canada Colt Navy in Colt London Case with all original accessories.
The revolver has nearly 100% vivid case colour, and excellent blue on cylinder and barrel showing holster storage wear only. This example likely did not see service. Action is perfect and rock solid, cylinder scene is 100%. UC G 38 marked for Napanee Troop. Grip with crown over 16 on the right grip.
Case includes original period lead bullets and caps (in Japanned Eley tin), cleaning rod, Colt mould, key and Hawkesley powder flask in top condition. Lock on case functions! Shows perfect original Colt loading instructions to upper interior. Also comes with Original Upper Canada penny from 1857.
Lastly, it includes the classic reference book on these rare revolvers, Swayze’s “‘51 Colt Navies” (circa 1967) signed by Nathan Swayze to Robert Band, the Canadian who provided the data for the Upper Canada Colt section. This was his personal copy from the author or his contribution.
