Savage Axis .243 Cal. (18-1/2" BBL) - c/w - 20 MOA rail / custom brake and cap / 360 ea. - 6mm bullets / Hornady Dies. Hornady brass (10 new + 40 once fired). As original owner I had intended to mount this rifle on MDT Oryx platform for general shooting, developing and testing varmint loads, with compatibility of switching into original stock to serve as light field carry coyote hunting rig. Project interest fell victim to greater favor of larger caliber pursuits. This rifle has fired only 40 rounds. It is light, accurate and a proven caliber for everything from gophers to deer.
